Collected at a depth of 20m below the surface at Salt River Canyon, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands

Notes: This holoplanktonic harpacticoid copepod occurs in warm oceanic waters, often associated with the large cyanobacterium Trichodesmim upon which it feeds.
