Cumacean- Leucon americanus

Location: 5 km offshore from Chincoteague, VA. Depths of 5-7 meters. Caught using an epibenthic sled (363 micrometer mesh).

Date: Summer 2005

Notes: While regularly found in summer collections over sandy bottoms, these cumaceans were never abundant.
