Nemopsis bachei (hydromedusa)

Collected: Spring, 2005 5 km off of Assateague, VA sampling just above the bottom using an epibenthic sled (363 micrometer mesh) in 8-9 m depths.


Notes: The four dark masses at the bottom are actually clusters of 14-18 tentacles, but the tentacles are greatly contracted and do not show up well.
