Notes: (Poecilostomatoida)
This specimen is likely Ergasilus. versicolor.

Males of this genus are planktonic. Females have modified 2nd antennae used to attach to the gills of fishes, especially catfish.

Other members of this genus infect killifishes in the Chesapeake.
